Haven’t posted here for a while but have been enjoying the raft of Seiko homages and the like opened up by the Ali Exp models.

Looking to put together Grand Seiko diver style homage similar to the below.



I think the Orient Kamasu would be a good yet different watch to base this on.




Questions:
Has anyone built a homage using a Orient watch before?
Are there GS style hands to fit this movement?
Are Orient spare parts available to mod?
If so, would love to get a Mako II/Ray dial to match the Seiko dial layout like below.



Basically as I see it in layman terms it’s the watch + GS style hands + alternate dial, if possible.

Anybody willing to take this one on?

About the hands; you can use both these tutorials as reference:

I recommend to browse AliExpress.
They have a huge selection for NH35 movements in terms of cases, hands and dials. I have already seen GS hands for the diver.
