Rolex/ Montilier 663

Any Infos on this movement? I am getting kind of biased towards building the „original“ 2533 as pictured in an old Rolex sales catalogue lately and would like to gather some information.
Perezcope has a pretty nice mock-up picture of a possible gold version and according to Panerai history the 2533 should have been equipped with the 663. Found nothing on Ranfft...

This is a highly hypothetical thing as of yet, my timeline already is crowded but who’s isn’t in this mad place?

Can I get a tax deduction for the therapeutic value of this hobby?

I wish I knew, but it has been a while and I don't have the details here and now.

I was hoping you’d chime in here... this one is really elusive.

Isn't the Montilier 663 the Rolex 666? A wild guess without having dug into my books.

What I have come up regarding this is that the 666 is 14 lignes and the 663 is supposed to be 13 3/4...

They are similar though

If you compare the 2 pictures below. You'll see the Cock, Balance Cock, regulator and even numbers of jewel is different!

The one with Swan Neck regulator definitely finishes better and premium looking!

But with that said, really can't differential which is cal 663 and 666! ImageImage
