I am working on finishing up a NW cali case. Does anyone have any tips on how to age the crown. The diamond "faucets" are still too shiny for me. It looks out of place with the rest of the watch. I have tried to fold sand/polishing paper hit each individual groove. It is not working out for me. Let me know if there are any tips.
Thanks!

Try metal patina liquids you can buy from arts and craft supplies.

And after sanding it, polish it a bit so it looks more natural.
