How make a build with a NW 6152 and Hamilton 917?

Hi,
I want to make a build using a NW 6152 with an H917. Gordon doesn’t sell movement holders for the 917. I was talking with him and he was telling to use a C616 movement holder and try to fit the movement there.
What’s the best option here and did anyone already made a build like this one?
Thanks,
BM

I think the best way would be to make a movement ring for the ham917.

I thought on that and but I would need to draw it and have someone milling it. Do you have an idea of the movement ring measures for NW 6152 case? Don't have any to start drawing it.

Kp0y can possibly help you with the creation, or slpf, guess it is not a good idea to ask NZ in the present situation.

There’s n chance for 616 movement ring to fit 917 - the difference in diameters is about 2mm.

It’s 1mm diameter and 0.1mm for the height. Needs work, Gordon did that once and explain me the process he used the dremel to size the movement and made some small changes to the ring.

You mean shaving away part of the movement? I would avoid that, but that's me. I never change original parts, I make new parts fit the original ones.
I hope you can use the movement as it is and that it will fit inside the case with a thinner movement ring.

I'm using the movement as it is, no way I'm going to change it. Just need a movement ring.
