Long story short, got non working (plus a box full of pocket watch parts) Cortebert 616. Wasn't sure about the caliber but decided to get the entire box, after all it was a good price 0€.

Got home open the watch and there it was a 616 with a serial number within Rolex series (Serial numbers: 7.500.000 – 7.515.999 for the type A, B and C).

Then the amount of problems:
 1. Stem was broken inside the movement just at the beginning of the crown wheel. Easy fix this one.
 2. Balance wheel staff broken
 3. Balance wheel not round anymore
 4. Balance hair spring bended
 5. Second wheel not round anymore but with all the teeth
 6. Center wheel with 2 broken teeth
 7. Escape wheel not sure if it's flat
 8. Mainspring was full wind since 1985, so very old without service.
This is the list so far, I think more will come.

Some pictures from the movement

It used to be a pilot's watch and he dropped it from 30.000 feet

Yoda shouldn't the wheel gears from a molnija work? I know the movement height aren't the same, the 3602 it's thinner, but removing the axis from the Molnija movement?

Newbie question

We can try, but I don't know. I have a few Molnija movements to pick from.
Russian movements are not my cup of tea anyway, might as well butcher them if it helps the 616.

I haven't access to the link, but it is good enough for me to know.
If I am not very much mistaken, then the wheels should be the same and then they can be riveted to the arbors in the 616 in case arbors are different.
