Has anyone seen the Tourbillon movements made in China?

I have seen a few of them on eBay; they usually sell for around $1K, sometimes less. I am curious to hear from anyone who has handled them. Any comments regarding their quality?

Yikes, 1K is a big risk for a Chinese movement of this level. Good call throwing it out to the group. I can't help, but I'm watching responses.

That’s a amazing movement and I could care less where it’s made.

I’d probably ask for some type of warranty though as servicing it would be a challenge.

When dealing with this kind of complication, I don't care about where it was made, except for, as you point out, servicing.

I have one Chinese tourbillon watch, It has broken and does not work.
It bought 900USD from eBay seller and after 2 months has broken.

The biggest problem with Chinese tourbillon is that very difficult to find a person who will repair this.
Many watch repair guys hate Chinese tourbillon very much because of poor quality parts and complexity.

this is not a rep. "Beijing" brand watch(like seagull,it's a local brand here in China, but not that famous as seagull).
