Much ado about 54 fake watches. The 2 Mio. claim is just clickbait, of course. The net sales value would only be about 20k. Not to speak of the the net loss...

This never ceases to amaze me, when the amount is calculated based on the retail value, which just doesn’t make sense to me. And then they claim a loss of 2 million, which again doesn’t hold water, just because someone bought a $500 version of a $15 k watch doesn’t mean, they would have splurged $15k if the $500 version wasn’t available, well, atleast I wouldn’t because I cannot afford it lol.

i've always wondered why they bother publishing these articles. is it because they want the world to know how evil the counterfeit market is? how "well" the feds are doing? how terrible China is? how terrible the consumer is to have bought such counterfeits?

nowadays, many press workers are no different than click baiters, just to have the ads viewed in the news page to gain fees.
exaggerating the headline is the most known way to gain viewers.
