Be it a gen find, cheapie or build.....
Here is mine right now... $33 in so far. A watch built with left over parts.

Case and hands $20 off eBay, $6 for plexi, $7 for stem. The movement salvaged from another build, the strap and dial left overs.
Would love to see your favorite cheapie

OK, I'll play. This was a $54 VK microstepper from Dhgate. Came with silver hands and green glass distorted crystal. Faded the insert, painted the hands, relumed it vintage, and put a $5 SK HW plexi.

It gets a lot of compliments. A bit noisy though.

46mm. It's this case:

At one time seller had the case sets - but now they seem to be sold out...

Not the same case but I see lots of these as an option on Ebay. They go alot of the time for the starting bid such as this one I bought and have waiting for my next build.

The polish is very good, a movement spacer, a crown, display back, and definitely a sapphire front crystal. They sell so cheap I have been considering a third one just to have.
My favorite watch under $100 is a hard choice because I have so many under $100 I love. Right now it is this marriage watch. An old Pilot pocket watch with a 6498, case from a Parnis I took apart, fit an onion crown and new stem, and currently on a bracelet I have had for years. Easily under $100 and it is so enjoyable that I have already bought what I need to build a 2nd marriage watch.

That is a good job on the pilot case!
