29mm / 13 Lignes Movement Inspiration?

I just happened upon a Unitas 6376 in excellent condition but I have no idea what to do with it. I suppose I could throw it into one of my empty pocket watch cases but I’d love to put it into a wristwatch. Anyone have any recommendations on projects that would fit a 29mm movement with a seconds hand at 6:00?

Any pics? How about a gentleman’s tool watch? Elegant but built to take a beating

A pilot watch!
This is kind of where I was leaning. I just haven’t had any luck finding a case to fit a 29mm movement. Is there somewhere I can browse cases by movement size? I haven’t found any cases specifically for this movement either.

That’s what I’d like to do. Something I can throw on a NATO and go mow the lawn in.

My vote is your version of what you think a vintage Rolex explorer or military tool watch should be from the 50s-60s. Then upsize it to the size you want. Custom dial, custom hands.....

I love this idea. Any advice on how to go about sourcing a case that will fit a 29mm movement?

I go by dial size... if it’s a rear load, I look for what size dials it accepts. If it can take a 31+mm dial, it will definitely take a movement at least that big allowing for. 1mm sized spacer. The trickier part is stem offset. If you have cases at home, try different ones to see what stem offset works best.

Great advice, thanks!

I picked up this case for a vintage bathiscaph build. The movement ring fits a Miyota 8015 size which I believe is the same.

I also built a B-Uhr with an ETA 2801. The movement holder in this puppy was for a 2824/36/01 size. From HR.

Looks like those movements are all 26mm so it may be too tight of a fit for this one
