Never sent the boxes to the garbage!!
It's just amazing that this gentleman kept all the original papers and artifacts.
From now on I'll keep all the original stuff.

yup original box n papers n invoices/receipts are very important as verification later on.

That’s awesome love the story and the watch. Can’t believe that only cost $120 dollars in 1960 wow! Congrats to the owner his reaction he couldn’t believe what that’s worth.

Did anyone ever see the one with an old hippy, I think he had a daytona. The guy straight out fell on his ass, when he was told how much his watch was worth after he got it when he was in service and then just put it away for 40 some years. Love these stories.
