2019-04-19 – OWC Back
Hi All,
As you know, I lost the plot when Dad contracted cancer and totally lost it when he married a non-resident for residency reasons 2 days before he died. According to Australian Law after the marriage, I lost all legal status and as my lawyer said I was Donald Ducked.
We made an illegal trip to Sydney with a removal company and took all Dad’s stuff to Orange. The bitch sent her lawyer and filed a suit against me for illegally taking Dad’s stuff and making a claim on the estate – she was technical correct. After much legal stuff, letters to the Immigration Minister, my State Member, my Federal Member etc…. we had her on the run. Eventually, with immigration on her tail, after she realised that Dad had no money, his flat was rented, he had no savings and his pension stopped the day he died, she backed off.
Back to normal and I have many bridges to repair, credibility to rebuild and apologies to make.
I have reset the clock, and all starts from now.
• I have a new industrial designer as my previous guy had an affair, his wife kicked him out and now going through a divorce (so not the most reliable guy now – but he may return).
• New CAD drawings are in the process of being made
• A redesign of the Diver and a New Dress Watch
• I have new movement #1 – Top Grade with Premium Regulation (from my understanding the only thing different to a Chronometre is the COSC certification).
• These will find their way into the NEW Snowflake (see below). A limited release of less than 100 watches (may be more). No options – what you see is what you get. First in best dressed (I am taking orders and deposits now).
• Trying to squeeze in a new watch travel box – but again the past events scuttled many of the negotiations. As you know Mr Chan and Mr Wang what the order for a zillion there and then.
• Pray for some luck.
That is the plan. I hope I can achieve some of these in 2019. As a sweetener the New Snowflake comes with some surprises.
