Eisenhower Silver Dollar Buckle

Was fooling around this weekend with an old Eisenhower Dollar coin and converted it into a 26mm sew in buckle.
The hardest part was straightening out the coin edge I cut off so it could serve as a tongue. Ike didn't weather the conversion too well :)

a great idea! and then make another coin into a thinner one to become the dial :D

Great idea! I have been thinking of finding a silver coin, have it sliced to half the thickness and use it for a dial.
