Current 8-day movements

Hey everybody!
I like the idea of an 8-day movement a lot. Unfortunately the SF240 is way out of my range and other 8 day movements require a lot of work to make them compatible, which also means a hefty amount of cash.
Now I have heard and seen that Panerai still makes 8-day watches and as I expected, the replica makers replicated this movement (P.3000). Anyone of you guys have experience with this movement? Considering reliability and timing. My A6497 runs in great specs but will the rep. P.3000 do this, too?
I’m tempted to order one together with a set of hands I need, but want to gather some information first..

P3000 is a 3 day manual wind movement ... replica makers have cloned that movement to some extent and you will see them in some watches labeled "Superclone P3000" ... there are still cosmetic differences, but it is a very close looking and functioning movement. However, there are reports of getting up 120 hours of PR from these Superclone movements ... so you have that.
P5000 is currently the base 8 day movement that Panerai employs ... it is simple in design and to keep costs down. There are no replicas of this movement, however replica makers have used the "P3000 Superclone" movement and just added P5000 cosmetic plates ... so they can have extended Power Reserve beyond standard 48 hours of a 6497. There are cheaper replica that show P5000 8 Day .... and are just standard 6497 base model with cosmetic plates made to look like an 8 day movement.

I would consider these movements warily.
You would need custom holders, backplates with dial feet, fitting hands and last but not least a stem with a1.2 or 1.4 threading to fit our crowns.

Well, I could score a SF240 at my local antique parlor, he’s asking 780€ for it, but then I‘m just a student who stumbled into a great hobby that you Neee some cash for.
Just in case someone is interested, I‘ll hook you up. Clock looks great.

I don't think those contain SF240 ... the hands are all wrong. Always be wary .. ask to open the back to confirm.

What is your budget for the movement?
And remember you want a stem wind 240 not a key (back) wind.
