Access old threads in the old HF

Hey guys!
I'm currently doing some extensive reshaping on a mini fiddy. Google tells me that there are heaps of threads dedicated to this in the old HF. Any chance someone saved these or someone can put them up here? Some detailed pictures would help me a lot right now as the NOOB 372 case only helps in some points, need more reference pictures to compare.

Best Regards

Vonn

Getting the old files from HF is actually rather cumbersome because you have to transfer them manually, each answer in the thread.
Perhaps as an alternative. Nightwatch maintains a blog next to his shop in which he posted an article describing in depth how to reshape.

I agree.

You might be able to access some of these old threads (or similar ones on other fora) by googling the right keywords. Post your reshaping progress and you"ll get useful feedback from experienced members as you go (that's what I did for my only build so far :shame: )

Good idea. Google cached website option might have access to some threads.

Alternatively, you can tell us which thread you can't access (link) and we would transfer it.

I tried, but since HF is password-locked I can only see random pictures without the maybe crucial information.
I already read about everything NW has in his blog, but since it’s dedicated to reshaping 6152 or Noob 372 cases it’s only of little use for a Mini Fiddy case that has completely different sides and lugs.
I will try to put up some pictures of my stuff later. Main guess is how to get the cushion shape right as there is only little material on the bezel side and I need to put up a certain angle for the cushion look but still want to be able to put a bezel on there.

And don‘t be shy and think of MK_FR91‘s hint.
Post your progress here and you will be helped.
This is why we have this place and it is so intriguing to watch a project grow.

These are the most interesting ones for me I guess. As both did extensive reshaping and not just break in the sharp edges.
I‘ll share some pictures as soon as I’ll have more time for it, it’s a busy exam week for me right now and I only get a few minutes every night to do some minor work on the cases

We will make a local copy of these threads over here

Good luck with the exams!
