メリークリスマス

Wishing you and your families all the best for the coming year. Health, Happiness and Wealth to you all.

Just when one thinks one’s digital footprint is small…I find this. Long time ago…oh the glory days with an Alfa Romeo…now I am older, fatter and have a Porsche 928….

Thank you for your kind thoughts and wishes – I hope you and your families had a good Christmas. Now the Madness begins. I plan to make no New Year’s Resolutions – all too hard.

I did get a very late delivery on the 24th – Pressburg Mint Chronos Silver Coins. As I suspected, getting a UK import/export registration for a non-resident is hard and time consuming.

Plan B. The coins (0.999 fine silver in brilliant uncirculated condition investment grade), will be available from 2019. But also available for individual purchase (I am still costing these).

These will form part of the New Snowflake kit – it was this or a rubber band that would wither and die and thrown in the bin. The girls loved the “Chronos” coins especially with the little clock on them.

In is watch has the new “almost” Chronometer movement – any ideas what I should/could call it?? 24/7 testing is great accuracy is amazing – my OCD is now well under control, at least on this front.

Perhaps a group buy to save on shipping???

Nice work .. being a somewhat collector coins ... that's a nice touch! Hopefully silver should do well over time ... and the watch will last just as long :D

by "snowflake kit" .. do you mean the hands will be .. as in Tudor snowflake style?

well ... Kronos means Time in Greek or Tempus in Latin
Silver = argentum or argenti in Latin
Precision in Latin is Accuratio ...
Akro or Acro is Greek for Topmost, highest or extreme

some combination of these words ... to refer to precision, time??

Another coin collector – wow…I will have to tell my wife there are more of us!

Thank you…I like the Latin

When I used Google Translate, I got “praecisionem” for precision? I like Accuratio, but Bulova have an Accurist. Like the word…but, I also read the Latin word Penis means tail, but that also did not come up in this Politically Correct world….

I do like “praecisionem” or perhaps the Dutch “precisie”

OK…I will spill the beans – first every photos of the NEW Snowflake or in the Latin Nova Snowflake: New hands, new dial, applied indices, new “precisie" movement…. etc…. The kit will comprise (not finalised yet): Nova Snowflake; precision screwdrivers (German); Cufflinks; spare screw bars; marsupial band; Chronos 999 fine silver coin; ?? and shipping

Taking Orders – NO options what you see is what you get – limited time/numbers

(The dial is graduated and will look better if I can get a professional photographer to wave their magic).
