Question on 6152-1 build ( Ali case, River dial)

Hi, I am a newbie trying to figure out a 6152-1 CG build. The parts are on its way and I wanted to ask if anyone have any suggestions on which parts I would need to complete my build? I've read some posts on the crown not being able to fit due to the thickness of the dial, But I am not sure yet as my parts are in transit. Anyone with experience with the case/ dial or suggestions would be greatly admired! :)

Here are my build specs (currently)

Case: Ali 6152-1 CG case
Dial: River 0.8mm
Hands: River thin pencil
MVMT: Unitas 6498

I plan to get a better case in the future, but I am trying with the Ali case for now until the near future.
I also plan to reshape the case and age the parts as well since I am an experienced modder for vintage Grand Seikos and King Seiko's. Just new to the Homage PAM world! ;)

6498 will need secs pin trimmed if using river base dial… may be easier to do 6494?

Which dial are you using?

I’m using a river 0.8mm LP dial (X second hands). I will have to cut off the second hands pin or replace the with a no seconds wheel. Wish me luck!

You have to know that the dial feet won’t fit on the 6498.

On the left 6497 - on the right 6498.
Either you have to cut the feet and clue the dial on the movement or you have to glue new feet.
