Any time a seller pops up a 240 (for a low price) they will most likely get an immediate email from some one around here (or in Asia  ) ... "Hey there ... how about a quick sale of this mangled and rusted old clock?"

so much and for a good price, you are a lucky man. still looking around gor a good catch Image
The funny thing is that I have never been hunting these, they just seem to float my way for some odd reason. I receive a link to an auction or a member wants to trade for work or parts.

I remember that I wasn't much of a fan to begin with, but now I really like them. Even old dogs can learn to sit.
LOLOL!

TimemiT wrote: September 9th, 2019, 2:16 pm it raised the market value for non-inca sf240's ;) ... in a general sense (experts and those of us buying SF240 for the past 20 years need not apply) ... and I've paid my fair share of $800+ for my first 240's

TimemiT wrote: September 9th, 2019, 12:22 pm So who was it around here??? The guy that paid $1625 and did all of us "240 hoarders" a huge favor!!

Why do you think it did us a favour? :)
I agree,I also had my share of 900$+ for my first 240s. However, those (rare) non alarm clocks, despite lacking the inca bloc, have always comanded a price above 1,2k mark, with few exceptions.
(Full disclosure: I own a non alarm sf240 just like the one on this auction and am very satisfied with the price this auction achieved)

my guess is the $1625 SW non alarm SF240 is going to Asia (or South East Asia).

Am I missing something here? I’m not super familiar with Ken Trading other than the almost but not quite Zerographe homage.
What is the justification for these prices
