Yes, like anthracite. It’s black rhodium coating. And it really looks amazing in person.

If you mean the coating I do on my dial, then no. It's a different method and I have no possibilities to do it myself. A friend of mine helped me.

A metal/cork/wood item you put between a pot/kettle and table top to prevent damage.

That antenna thingy is a mini camera tripod for a phone. It’s my wife’s....don’t ask me to explain.

Not watch related but playing around with Custom Made experimental super-tweeters

The tweeter is completely sealed ,its a Air Motion Transformer ribbon ,its not like the traditional speaker design we all know.
Most use this in open baffle config ,see next to the black box.
so the box in this case is only for positioning and looks ,even though i found when i heard them that they play better in the sealed metal box with some synthetic cotton speaker padding inside,i does not improve the sound of the actual tweeter but cut the diffraction a little . There are nice little things to play and experiment with.
