I have been wanting one of these nos Orients I see on Ebay for some time now. Finally got a deal on one I could live with so this is on the way.


The next one I would not recommend unless a person doesn't mind flaws and having to potentially clean up a new watch. I have a blue dial version that my gf took over as soon as I finished it. I have missed it so I ordered a black dial variation. Shanghai 8120.

How Do I treat this dial—> ?

A) leave it alone: it will give character and be hardly noticeable under the glass

B) give it a matte spray (spray can) to conceal/blend the marks: I’ve had some success doing this on other dials

C) don’t t risk it it will become destroyed with ordinary matte spray from a can and hand it off to @Bigwaved to “wave” his Big wand of magic and correct it again?
