We've seen a couple of theese sold on the bay for much lower sums.Do you think someone bought it for a 618 conversion?I doubt that would be a good deal since the microregulatorcan would be a tell.Clueless... :?
That is crazy! I posted about the one for $180 above and it looks better than this $800 one.

Ok, titanium case. The 12 o'clock marker? The screws on the case back looks unfamiliar and uncomfortable.

Thoughts?

You think so, M?

I recall this one being up for auction at Sotheby's years ago but I don't know enough of the details. Does it look like a River case?

I know the bezel is more River than Esdee.

The fact that Alessandro Bettarini has put his name and reputation on it is interesting.

It's still way over today's market value of Panerai I believe but I'm just really not sure if it is gen or not.

Maybe it dseerves it's own thread for discussion.

Not sure, I edited my post and you were faster than me.

One thing I do know, is that these papers from Alessandro Bettarini are all over the place. I have a set and anyone can copy and download this from the internet and edit if needed.
The strap looks cheap, at least poorly made.

Still, I don't know and I'm not impressed. Once again, I should perhaps just keep my mouth shut as I know far too little about this.

The last picture they use is clearly a oddly cropped picture of this one sold at sothebys.
