Is the seller a provider of good pieces? Do you mean that with "as usual "?

Sorry man. I'm really ..d up today. Heavy stuff for so long on me and my messed up brain. I mistook you for Kpoy.

Yeah, ok now. Thanks for the good questions you asked to Kpoy, and the answers were short and enlightening. Thanks everyone for bearing with me. I'll come to my senses.... I suppose Image

I just remembered I picked up one of these used on eBay for $35 back when I was in the market for a Pam and hadn’t yet started building (I bought a few different homages, the others turned into builds eventually). I should dig this one out and do something with it.

It's a bit off topic, but why do you have to buy it on AliExpress? The delivery there is slow and returns are troublesome. I would rather go to some other store to buy, better experience and service. I ordered this san martin bb gmt watch from an authorized store, really fast delivery to my door and a nice price after the discount. Lovely watch and I wear it everyday.

You don't have to :) But it is a great web site to find stuff.

It seems that Alix shipping has improved a lot lately on stuff over $10. I recently received a couple of things in less than two weeks and the packages were delivered by courier rather than thrown in the mailbox.

Anybody come across an AliExpress seller who provides second hands for 6497/8 movements. I've managed to lose three...🙄

I’m assuming you're looking for a pam second hand, right? If so you didn’t mentioned which color and length should it be/have.

They offer second hands: 4mm, 4,5mm, …

I think it’s better to order a set for ~4€ instead of searching for just the second hand… Image

I have many of them from my dials “without second hands” projects but this is going to be more expensive to send one to you than buying it from AliE.

If I know this a couple of weeks ago, I’d have brought one to you since I was for couple of days in Valencia. Image

For those of you who don’t want to work on a movement (cutting the second pin) here is (maybe) a solution for a „beginner“ project in order to start building your own homage.

Complete Radiomir homage build for under 110€
From these build you can use the case (45mm), the movement and the dial (maybe the hands too).

Changes can be: on the case and crown. Then a new strap and a new set of hands and/or dial (if needed). But you can work on the existent dial and hands.

If you buy the parts separately:
- case: ~30-35€
- movement: 30-35€
- dial: ~15€
- hands: 12-15€
- strap: the quality on the offered strap ~15~20€
Total price: ~ more or less around 100€
