Every year, me and my wife, in the Christmas season, we support children through our daughter school by donating supplies for one month and in the summer we support the summer camp for a children with Spina Bífida where they work harder than all of us just to be able to make simple tasks like eating by themselves.

Have a recent memory from my 3 years old daughter at the school, they were all playing football (soccer) at the play ground when a children with Spina Bifida arrived. Those kids immediately changed the game and start only using their hands and called the other children to play. Simple. Huge lesson from those kids with 3 years old.

I’m rich in a way my daughter it’s know in the neighborhood by the smile and happiness. I’m lucky to have an healthy, happy and loved daughter.

Don’t know if this count or not for the thread, but if so and in case of wining, I’ll open a sales thread and the money will be donated.

Sorry for the long post but I’m touched by actions like this one. Thanks Piloten for the thread and thank you HF members to support this, it’s really nice to be around.

Thank you for adding this account. No more valuable experience for children and all of us to know.

Nice gestures here... it shows nice Christmas spirit.

This year my wife and I have raised money for families that struggle to pay for a Christmas meal. So far we have helped 5 families and hopefully we can do more

Great gesture here. I know that Piloten specifically does this only for animals, here and on different forums. Raising donations for the animals because the animals can't help themselves.

If anyone is stuck for an idea, how about a raffle in a raffle?
Win a Born Free Trip To South Africa for £10

Win a watch AND a trip?

It will be on a list, I split my donation in the names Max and John.
