Yeah I was thinking that, too. Actually spent some time thinking obout it. Like; one hero wears a cape but several heroes wear capes. BUT each one of those heroes wears ONE (a) cape... This is not an easy one, to be sure.

Full disclosure as I’m not an English PHD or anything.
Sounded a little funny so I googled “not all heroes wear capes” and saw tons of results, plaques and songs etc.
I googled “not all heroes wear a cape” and got the results for “wear capes” suggesting to me that the phrase doesn’t really exist.
In addition I believe it was originally posted here in context by [mention]TimeLost [/mention] as “wear capes”
