Around 1640-1650. I should perhaps have written that the bridges are made of gold...

I made the chain myself, but it was a long time ago. It looks like a miniature bike chain, a real pain in the ass to rivet, and say no more about the hooks for the barrel and fusee. I used to be a frenetic enthusiast, but I have settled a little since then.

I think I found my grail watch...
