Im using a solder paste.it is extra for va steel soldering wtih other materials like brass.Im using the solder wire from the same brand for it. the stem tube I solder from the outside and the bezel from the inside.
the paste is very good for soldering, because it already includes solder wire and when you heat the case you see the solder paste comes silver shining and you just hold the solder wire to the soldering part. the solder paste take the melded wire inside the soldering part,so it runs everywhere.
it makes the soldering very easy
Where to get that soldering paste kit Tafari? Would like to try it out. Thanks.

Say for 10 inner bezel to case soldering.

And finally it is doneImageImage After 2 days of struggle! Along the process came a lot of unexpected mistakes and damages to the hands.

I filed away the tubes of the original hands, but unfortunately I have broken the second hand so I had to use the donor second hand which is longer in length. I than bond the donor tubes with UV glue on the the original already filed hands(I was surprised the UV Glue actually hold up very well).

And than, a few parts went missing again and again!!! LOL Image But managed to retrieve them eventually.

Soon, I realized that my tube is too tall for my 0.5mm dial. So I improvised by using a approximate 1mm thick jelly tape to hold and raise the dial! Don't know if this tape may have any side effects in the future upon dismantling, but it is what I have at the moment.

After I have successfully installed all modded hands. I realized that the gap between the Minute and the Hour hand is too much and so I dismantle the Minute hand to filed down the tube. Unfortunately, I damage the lume on the Minute hand while doing so. With no available lume on hand, I improvised again by using White glue to filled up the damaged area and than stained it with coffee.

Finally I didn't do a fantastic job but I do succeed on what I am trying to achieve. I believe the next will be better. Thanks for reading & cheers guys ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
