good job, I remember how often I was searching for partsVanSong wrote:Finally got sometimes on this CNY break. Am trying to modded the tall tubes to my originally aged Angelus style hands which I think it sits too flush to the dial. Have brought an Athaya tall tubes pencil hands as donors!
But upon opening up the watch, I found myself looses the parts 3 times!Am luck that I managed to recover them back after some searching
. I even had to search YouTube for answer to see how the setting lever was being installed in the first place after it went loose! And yes, this is challenging for a Newbies like me but it was a great experience

Where to get that soldering paste kit Tafari? Would like to try it out. Thanks.tafari wrote:Im using a solder paste.it is extra for va steel soldering wtih other materials like brass.Im using the solder wire from the same brand for it. the stem tube I solder from the outside and the bezel from the inside.Belkin12 wrote:Did you solder the bezel and the midcase from inside?
the paste is very good for soldering, because it already includes solder wire and when you heat the case you see the solder paste comes silver shining and you just hold the solder wire to the soldering part. the solder paste take the melded wire inside the soldering part,so it runs everywhere.
it makes the soldering very easy
