Yes, they are based on 620. Not 616. Earliest Molnijas are as almost identical to 620 - later they were modified...

If you are very, very lucky and find one from the earliest batch of 1947, they even have chatons. But those are really rare. The ones before 1950 have narrow CDG. Production dates are engraved on the plates (Quarter/year).

There is the legend that Cortebert sold their 616 production equipment to Stalin and that this turned into the Molnija watch production facility.
The ISKRA is a high precision Molnija movement which sports some extras compared to the regular Molnija.
They are nice movements and look great in a watch.
And they are relatively cheap.
But the advertisement at eBay is certainly quite exaggerated as far as the movement pedigree is concerned.
Even if the legend is true the movement has seen quite some changers as opposed to the first Molnijas from 1947
FYI I am bidding on this one! Dibs :)
