Having one very nice Cortebert pocket (great looking 6498 movement and with a nice dial)


and one 6498 movement but with a not that much nice dial…

…. and getting two very cool builds.

- one Radiomir 47mm with the Cortebert movement (which I already presented the other week)


- and one wristwatch with the Cortebert dial plus the 6498 movement from the second one

Guilloche portable machine


It is fully functional and according to the owner will be shared as an open platform. Basically will be a kit to make your own guilloche machine.

Neat! I started to make a DIY rose engine, but its been on back burner for a few years. will keep eye out for his open platform see if theres anyt parts of it i can grab. i was using motorcycle pistons as the 'frame' that bumps the pusher against the rosettes, and a horizontal mill mainshaft to hold it.. as its just what i had laying around and seemed quite sturdy. was still trying to piece together a wormscrew offset adjuster for better patterns/rosette indexing, but thats about when it stopped

thank you for sharing ! my friend is assembling the big beast at the moment. but for me this experience is out of reach at the moment, because in a day is only 24 hours unfortunately. but I love guilloche!
