Oysterquartz 17014 case with LeCoultre «tiger eye» dial. Not sure what movement to put in. Need ca. 2.0mm stem height. 1.8mm should work too.
Great job. What laser did you use to cut the hands?south105323 wrote:
Custom hands. First stage is to polish them in place on the sheet. Easier and safer than doing it individually.
Broached out the hole, tight fit for a short section of brass tube, which I’ll broach the inside to fit the pinion.
(Don’t mind the rough end, will be sanded down to correct height. All hand tools only, cutting broaches, files, sandpaper. Dremel for polishing. Wish I had a lathe to play with)
Soldered, just need to clean, file off the tab and give it a final polish, then lume.
Fiber. 0.25mm brass. Not sure on settings. He is actually on here. John, Ard Laserbmsm wrote:Great job. What laser did you use to cut the hands?south105323 wrote:

Yes, I wasn’t happy with what I could get for the alarm hand, was using a Rolex GMT hand but it was too long. I am painting the arm of the hand black, I just want the triangle pointing at the indices without covering them. I was debating seconds hand also, but decided to make one.wwwEvgeny wrote:nice GMT style Alarm hand!south105323 wrote:
