Last but not least the movement. + 1-2 seconds per month, also 72+ hours reserve...

I can only highly recommend Grand Seiko. Makes most high end (not top if the line/haute horologie) swiss watches look like Casio.

I guess if I would invest in a luxury gen, than in a Seiko Spring Drive.
The finish, you mentioned, and then for me as an engineer the tech under the hood!

My son started his studies and there at still two empty places in the watch box I made for him.
Guess what they are already dedicated for :-;
