Two steps forward, one step back…
Resoldered the lugs with ‘hard’ silver solder (not so gold) and made new shorter ones. When I put the strap on there was too much gap.
Kanit strap, he made me one without glueing it, but punched the holes, so I saddle stitched it myself.
