No experience but the Sharkey brand seems to be pumping out some nice Seiko homages

Buy from Taobao will get better price, taobao.com search SBDX001 or 62Mas or SKX007 or SBBN015 you will see many work with good price

I was thinking that too at times.
But my Chinese could be perfected, I guess.
With Google translator and my remnant Japanese I get by searching, but buying is sth different. The small print and is the guy delivering abroad and finally how to pay. My last info was that I need a Chinese bank account to open an Alipay account.

Not so easy from this part of the island.

I have bought from this seller before, but nothing as expensive as a watch. He had some inexpensive heat blued hands for 6497/8 that I bought with no issues.

Central seconds 6497 for $750 (usually they cost ~$900+). Seems to be modified by hand. The same seller is selling a watch with another modified 6497...
