Yes, it started off as a complete watch from phong with black dial and insert and an eta 2824,
The case has been lightly aged,
I rebuilt it today with the dark blue dial and some tiger concept hands and blue insert and used an eta 2783,its low beat so more in keeping with the vintage theme,
Also a new Athaya 702 crown and tube

Man that’s beautiful @Alhig72! Props to you for swapping out to the vintage movement too. I’ve been working on a few projects lately with those old ETA automatics (24xx-26xx variants) and they are so much fun to work on, easy as a pocket watch.
I keep adding airplane parts to my motorbike but it still doesn’t fly

Most of the added jewels are in the automatic works, plus a cap jewel on the front side and a jewel for the quick change lever on the date:

It has heavy staining, but the corrosion doesn’t seem to be on any important parts. All of the teeth, pinions and holes are still in great shape. I think I’ll have to put this one in a bronze case so all of the patina matches. It also runs really well! I need to get some NOS hands and a case and it’ll be good to live a new life.

Not bad for twenty bucks eh?
