Tore down and rebuilt the movement. Everything looked great inside, with the exception of a chipped jewel- have a replacement on the way along with a new mainspring. Runs perfect dial up, but the amplitude dives dial down. Not sure if it’s the chipped jewel (train bridge seconds pinion), but here’s hoping the replacement fixes it
This is super cool! Would love to know where you found that case, I’m a big fan of engine turned bezels!

@razl @Mike08 heated the case then pulled it out. filed the case down, added a bit metal on top, then need solder, but it will later. too long i will reduce the tube length later

Yes it’s possible to polish it’s the same as “normal” 316L. Already did screw casebacks and threads works perfectly.
