@madasboot
Nice one! and once again perfect luming work.
I know that each detail matters for you,
so Iet me add that the moisture indicator is bit too dark and even color IMHO
Seems to lack the paper texture, but maybe it's due to photo...
Hi, I introduced myself in the other post, my name is Antonio and I'm Italian.
So I'll help myself with the dictionary, sorry for the mistakes.
I wanted to tell you that I also mod the various Fathoms or Tornek, I really like the work above, but as you said the moisture indicator needs to be changed.
I make them out of two-tone paper, and they come out well. I'll post some photos.
Anyway, nice work on the dial...well done!

Hi Antonio,
Welcome on board!
This thread is quite old but you can trust @madasboot for having improved his dial since.
M. is not only an artist but an incurable perfectionist
As far as I remember, he’s now using genuine moisture indicator paper.
You have to know that @madasboot is an hobbyist,
he has a very busy job and a family,
so very few time left for the hobby…

Thanks Fizzzz,
Pleased to meet you.
You see, I wanted to know how you write on the dials, I've tried everything but I'm not thrilled with mine.
So I wrote to him privately, hoping he would give me some advice. However he is an artist.

My main aim to my project is to be able to make a custom bezel for the rduane R6 with the design of the civilian FF and his wider bezel and insert.
I made a 3D of what I would like according to the various ref i found and the Rduane Midcase parameters.
I'm going to ask the cost to a supplier who make custom part with metal3D/Lathe/CNC...just to have an idea, if it's too expansive I will try to do it bymyself in the Fablab.
My target :
The new bezel design : i'm going to remove the 120 clicks and try to use a compression spring

You have to buy a WMT Sea Wolf...
40 case with 41mm protruding upper edge bezel.
Plexiglass, bezel insert and crystal
Real dial measurements.
Identical to the milspec, I have it...
From this base you can start.

I'm a bit late to the party here after a long hiatus from doing much in the way of builds but here is my latest one ,

Ok. So since this is a sticky it’s as good of place as any to dump some reference photos. I got these off of a website about 15 years ago and have gone to see if it is still there and can’t find it.
I will post photos, if you know any details send me a message and I will edit the post to include them.
