Hi all friends, my first upcoming 6154 build.
After 2 years of contemplating whether or not to build myself a watch.( I just sew straps, and love the historical style of straps and buckles. It's my fetish) and I wasn't particularly interested in watches.
But my friends NortON,Mike08 managed to change my mind by constantly showing me their new builds. And encouraged me to take the plunge. Completely filled me in. Looked for the right parts and bought them.
Without these guys, none of this would have happened. Thank you guys!!!
And finally D-Day came. The decision was made to assemble 6154. But as close to gen as possible.
Met a great new guy rodeoro outside of HF told me that I was going to do my first homage, and that I didn't know much about it. As it turned out he also started building a 6154 and had an extra dial that just gave it to me.
At that time I could not imagine that so many nuances must be considered to make everything fit together - it seemed that the docking of the Space Shuttles is just a kindergartencompared to finding the right parts and movements and making it all fit together)))
And today I got all the parts I needed.
I'm happy as a kid mostly not even because it's my first build, but because I got to meet such great people.
All that's left to do next is put it together.
"This was part 1."
