Brass/bronze case? Did you submerge it in the solution or let the fumes aged it.

If you are aging stainless steel, you will need a stronger acid or introduce heat.

Do you have a picture of the effect you are looking for?

Baking soda neutralize vinegar. Your mix then is not acid.

EP is right,
and if your case is Stainless Steel, you'll a need much stronger acid like sulfuric acid (usually battery acid),
handle with care!

Friends thank you.. Now I know where I went wrong.. Backing Soda.. I submerged in glass container like in Emilio tutorial.. The case is stainless steel.. I'll try the battery acid then, I haven't opened them since I was a kid.. I wanted to get a matte gray finish.. Maybe sandblasting would be a good option but I don't have that option .. I watched aging with heat and coffee and oil but it seemed unsuitable for the case.
