I got the idea from this post.

My method only changes in the way of attacking the metal. Instead of using electricity I use a chemical attack. I submerge the metal in a mixture of domestic hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide 60% 40% for one hour.

Today I was able to start with my latest build (a
Panerai Luminor Bettarini case) since all the parts were available.
- Case: Luminor Bettarini 44mm from AliE
- Movement : Caliber OP XI from black_shark
- Dial: Belkin
- Hands: remaining set from one of my old builds
- Strap: leather strap from Obscuranocte
- Caseback: display caseback from Kp0y
