Denis, there is a story behind this. When my daughter was 16 years old, she looked at me when I sat at the bench like a vulture with my tools and a lot of gadgets and said: "please dad, get a life"......
When she was 23 she asked: "dad, can you build a watch for me?".....
So, I built a watch, a 6152/1, Eddy Lee case, hand made strap by Fridsten, dial by me and an Asian 6497 as it was her first large watch. Since then I have given her a watch to carry in a chain and a tool watch for daily use and a very nice dress watch. Her first watch has been upgraded with a SF240 movement.
This movement from you, thank you very much, will end up in a slim 3646 case with a dial we have yet to work out.

what a coincidence!
The case was made for this movement. It is 42mm. The movement fit exactly the case. Movement plus dial are encased from the front. Front and back are screwed.

It would not hurt to check if it is round and flat to begin with, I usually place the balance cock upside down and place the balance assembly in the jewel to see where the issue is. I strive for as little tension as possible when the hairspring is "resting".

It looks like the hairspring sits a bit sharp on the stud, if I remember correctly it should be about 90 degrees to where it is fitted to the regulator arm. It would not hurt to check if it is round and flat to begin with, I usually place the balance cock upside down and place the balance assembly in the jewel to see where the issue is. I strive for as little tension as possible when the hairspring is "resting".
