Another EDOX pocket watch into wristwatch conversion

Did you realize anything …. ?
Yes, the dial was from a pocket watch with an ETA/UNITAS 6497 movement but as you can see it fits perfectly on an ETA/UNITAS 6498 without any changes/adaption. Image

But the dial had to be downsized by ~1mm to fit into the watch case.

I know there are a few further ways to do this but I think this way it fits exactly.

Shroud cleaned, sanded and polished. But I didn't grind out all the scratches.
That was my work watch from 2006-2012 and needs a bit of patina ;)It just lay around for almost 10 years or something. All gaskets are new, glass and bezel too.Sorry no new screws stuck in the post.

Ressurect my luminor 44 sub/PAM024C style case…
@toofsy thanks for the bay tip. This arrived from FR last night :)

24a project resurrected! Would appreciate tips from the experts on how to safely remove the bezel. I want to remove the hashmarks.

And this case is super thick. I’ll need to shave off the shoulders and shape the lugs. Or adapt the bezel assembly to another midcase.
