aliexpress case with bezel from Automatic cartel case (thicker) sandblasted this morning.
I need to source the right white gasket for the glass if someone can advice the ref?

thank you! yes... first when I bought it , I didn't notice that it was 24 hours :lol: it was cheaper... now need to do something with it...
now not sure whether to use original hands or laco style...

Don't throw the watch parts that are not longer needed, away. You never know when they will be needed.
And then this/these spare part(s) will turn from zero to hero.

This Molnija pocket watch came as a non running one, with not the best one plexi, the crown was shaky and had to be replaced too. A old step has been replaced.

Trying to improve a River Cali dial.
Should have taken a before and after photo...so the before is clipped from the listing.

The dial had a texture resembling very fine graph paper.

Now sanded, and textured with a mat acrylic rattle can. Lume gently aged and hands stripped of the blue paint.

I'm quite happy with the outcome, definitely an improvement in my opinion.

Nice lume!
I've never understood why River was applying this linnen pattern texture on his dials,
probably a (failed) attempt to reproduce paint brush pattern...

It’s definitely gone from sh*t to hot. Lots of time checking ahead. Great work!
