Just wonder, was it removed or really sold )))
.
Well its sold. Nothing in this listing is against ebay rules or copyright rules. This is a genuine prototype plexi dial that is housed in a custom made case. I am the owner and seller of it, I've listed it here before but nobody was a player and so it went on ebay. I have decided to stick with fully gen vintage and modern Rolex, Tudor and Omega.
Thank you very for your reply. Collecting original watches is a big part of me too. There so many "smart" and not "smart" offers on the market today. I think I could miss some part of this model history. Knowing this would benefit many collectors, it help them spend money wisely. Could you please share some reference link to any source, where I could find a historical model with this font of numerals on the dial, proportion of the indexes, type of the lume application, position of the logos on the dial. On my books and Perezcope including Renaldi collection it looks different. I could miss some information. Thank you very much

This build is old and wasnt put together by me. But the forum moderators would most likely be the most helpful on this. I bought it from Civic a few years back, there was also a tropic version of the same dial another member had. They have pictures of this same dial in the Prototipo 1000 Metri O.P book by Alessandro Bettarini. The dial is a sandwich dial and is lumed from the underside of the plexi. There is an entire section about the dial in the book mentioned.
I remember this specific dial coming up for sale on a forum in a Panerai section almost 20yrs ago. But i can no longer access those. The build was by Tanukjaju and was reworked/refinished by Esdee in 2018-2019. There was a lot of information on this piece on the old forum.

Thank you very much for your reply! this book I do not have. I was unable to find that reference in any place with good quality. the pictures are not super clear, but these two dials are pretty close when comparing. small book print hardly can take as a perfect, but you can see the proportions, the index thickness look a little different, proportions and font looks close to the print. very interesting that sandwich dial has different font with the metal one. Thank you very much again for finding the time to post the reference pictures.

Relisted it. Scammer out of Japan/San Francisco was the buyer. I didnt trust a damn thing the man was saying. They just are not very smart in what they do and don't say. I will give them the benefit of doubt at first, but this dude was a moron.

I bought this pocket watch with an UNITAS movement with central seconds.
Will be used in a flieger (B-Uhr) watch instead of a Molnija 3608.
