This 'thing" should weight more that 1kg !
at least it's a good way to exercise your left arm,
but I'm not sure you can pass the airport security with it.
The most surprising is ... there is a watch inside,
Ok, you need to carry your whole toolbox to set it,
but it's sooooo cool to wind your watch with a ratchet wrench!

A Zenith 3841:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Movimento-Zeni ... ect=mobile
I’ve built a half dozen of these into 47mm Radiomir cases. River sells crown tube adapters, and I’ve been able to modify 6497/8 movement holders to make it all fit. Alternate hands are a little tougher to source, but folks here have better tricks than I do to make those work.
These are really well made movements, excellent timekeepers and they have a HUGE balance wheel and big fat rubies. Best of all, they have incabloc shock protection - I’ve accidentally tested throwing them across the room and they survived without missing a beat (never trust non-welded Radiomir wire lugs).
The only thing you might not like about it is that it is LOUD. I like the loud tick but my wife has forbidden me to keep one on the bedside table as it keeps her awake.
Here’s the older version of the movement with a swan neck regulator

The old version is a beauty.

Yeah! The regulator has a perfect black polish. The complete pocket watch also has a cool trick. If you open the back cover and balance it on a flat surface, the whole case will rock back and forth.

Hang it on a chain so it is free to move and you will see a similar motion.
