That just boggles my mind… why wouldn’t they sell some other stuff first to get a feedback history? For that kind of dough I’d at least want to see a video of the movements running or better a timegrapher read. The whole thing is too amateur to be a scam, yet too absurd to be legit. It’s maybe he stole his dead uncle’s project watches and is trying to offload them to buy bitcoin? It’s like some rando in a clown suit hiring a taxi to sell legit Picasso paintings out of the trunk. It’s like looking at one of those chat GPT pictures that seems so real but then you look at the hands and there are too many fingers. This seller is an NPC vendor in an MMORPG selling actual red flags.

Here’s a curious one:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxor-8-tage-8 ... ect=mobile
I wonder what the movement in there looks like? I’ve seen a few Luxors but they were back wind and didn’t have shock protection. Not sure of the size of this one, but looks like it might be the right size for a conversion.

It's not a SF240, perhaps a 190. The pin in the crown is a tell, so are the hands.

It is an A.Schild movement.
42+mm in diameter and thick enough, good to be used in a big Egiziano build. I made a dozen
From 10 just one was with a long seconds pin. Parts are rare and it is cheaper/easier to buy another movement than search for a part

You are a seasoned builder here, isn't that a 190 when named Angelus?

SF190 is a lot bigger (55mm) and looks identical at first look. But bridges are a bit different. Caseback is different on those clocks.
Also pusher/button on crown for Luxor shows that it is not a sf190
Here is sf190 inside of a 60mm case.

It is at least not a SF240.

Suddenly a full size Egiziano seems very wearable:

I don’t want to wear it, but it’s kind of cool in its absurdity.
