There is no way around this, other than removing the barrel bridge and all steel parts before emerging the plate in a alumn solution.

There is no way around this, other than removing the barrel bridge and all steel parts before emerging the plate in a alumn solution.
OMG a lot work, better to look for a new one or a new used barrel bridge

It's not a big deal, a few hours in a solution and the screw is gone. Rather pleasant work in my opinion.

Indeed, and it is rather intriguing to remove the screw.
