Bought this thing. An Asian 6498. The turbine ratchet wheel is ghastly and large, but I kinda fell for the CDG on this one. Cheap thrills, I guess. Replacing the ratchet wheel will be the first order of business. Anyone got a good source for cheap spares?

Yeah, although the 'screw' here is the odd arrow-looking thing you see at the center there. The ring around is merely pressure fit with two small holes in the plate. I'll have to come up with some thing to 'decorate' those holes though.

This arrived finally after a month of waiting. From Silix a 47 mm Big Egi. Will enjoy quite a wrist time until other projects are completed. I'm happy
