From Belkin12,

Hi brother.
Thank you for your concern.
We left Kyiv today and after 16 hours of driving we temporary settled near the border with Poland. But Ukrainian men can’t leave Ukraine now.
It’s scaring what’s going on here.
Actually we don’t know where to go, but we definitely had to find a safer place. Putin obviously wants to grab Kyiv. Many people may die.
Thank you for sharing this. Praying for Dmitry and all his countrymen and women,

I heard from him as well yesterday.
Today I heard on the news Poland is now accepting refugees so hopefully they could get out of Ukraine and are now safe. If he's gone out of his country's borders it might be difficult for him to reach out.
My prayers have been and will be with him until the situation calms down

Apparently men cannot leave, female members of his family may be able to cross to Poland, but not him. I'm sure things change quickly

Thinking of you @Belkin12

To add to everyrthing what was said:
Dmitry's wife has relatives in Lithuania. I contacted him, he replied.
At the moment the plan is, when they are at the UA/PL border, I will drive there, get his wife and daughter (6yo) and bring them to Lithuania. I.e. I'll drive in advance, because it's some 10-12 hours of drive to get there, depending. He hopes they'll be at the border tomorrow or the day after tommorrow (now they are some 400km from the border)...
