Moving further into exploring the option of keeping both...Is your friend as into watches as you are? You seem very attached to both. If you're friend is indifferent maybe put your efforts into finding him something similar that's available in the market and aging it for him.
Someone above said it already, but you will likely regret it being that this is such a hard decision.

He really likes the aged version (with Miyota movement) and is willing to pay it well. Even though I'm pretty attached to these pieces,
I'm thinking about selling what he likes. In conclusion, what @Emilio has indicated seems to be the smartest choice.
