A present from an old fart. Citizen Crystron quartz with a 5 jewels Citizen 7312A movement. It wasn't running and the battery was of course leaking, so I cleaned it up with a good result. Put the bracelet, without the spring bars, and case in the dishwasher to remove old dirt and paint.
It works well now.

That's a high quality movement with 5 jewels. Cool.

Since you used a dishwasher instead of an ultrasonic, you wan't know how much dirt was really embedded in the bracelet. I have done that before and it is quite amazing.

Indeed, I saw a light dinner with wine and didn't want to touch it. It was probably contagious.
