I can't, sorry. I don't own a type D from Esdee but here it is compared to an Athaya 3646

NW top, Athaya middle, Esdee bottom
I like the slim Esdee best, and of course the Oyang. I have one of each.

LOL! It is just that I don't know what to do with the threaded brass lump in the set, it somehow needs to be opened up to accommodate some movement.

I haven't tried anything yet, it's a massive brass part and there is no hole in it at all.

if the threats fit to any kind of other 3646 movement rings, it must be easy to replace the part

@earloflondon The mid ring is solid to accommodate "any" kind of pocket-sized movement by drilling it to size.
